Blessed is the one who keeps themselves from wickedness and refuses to touch what is evil. Physical death is nothing compared to the condition of the soul. What truly matters is continually crucifying the sinful nature within. It is far better to be killed than to become a killer. My reward is found in holiness. It is better to be poor than to gain wealth through sin. Happy is the person who prepares their life to dwell with God and separates themselves from all that is unholy.

If a person truly studies the lessons of the past and pays attention to what is happening right in front of them, it becomes clear that God is not playing when it comes to judging the unrighteous. Scripture warns that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. In its arrogance and rebellion, America has become a dwelling place of darkness—an habitation of demons awaiting judgment.

Look at the Western World and those who have been captured. You can not trust those who love the world.

O believers! It is not permissible for you to inherit women against their will or mistreat them to make them return some of the dowry ˹as a ransom for divorce˺—unless they are found guilty of adultery. Treat them fairly. If you happen to dislike them, you may hate something which Yahweh turns into a great blessing.

While the world is preoccupied with many distractions, we as believers should remain focused on living out our faith in Christ. Living out my faith in Christ is my everyday focus.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-10 says.

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you,  for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.  While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.  You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.  So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.  For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.  But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.  For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Focus on Hope and Salvation of the Lord

Trey Knowles reflects on the teaching of Jesus in John 15:1–17, where Christ describes Himself as the true vine and God as the gardener. To remain in God’s love, one must allow Him to prune away the “bad branches” of self—habits, sins, and desires that keep us from bearing spiritual fruit. When we keep God’s commands, we remain connected to His love, and in that closeness, He strengthens us to live fruitful lives.

Jesus explains that just as branches cannot live apart from the vine, we cannot thrive apart from Him. Those who remain in Him will bear much fruit and bring glory to God, while those who separate themselves will wither. The heart of remaining in Christ is to love as He loves—laying down one’s life for others and living in obedience. Jesus calls His followers not servants, but friends, chosen to bear lasting fruit through His love.

God's word I can't live without. "Your word guides my steps and lights the way before me."

Psalm 119:105 states, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path".

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1

11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

Trust in the Lord. Love the Lord by following his commands. Let love and faithfulness never leave your sight. Bind it around your neck, and write it on the tablets of your heart.

A strong faith often, if not always, leads to or manifests itself in obedience, as demonstrated by examples of individuals who trusted in God's word and acted accordingly.

Note: If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law of death, but of life through Christ.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires - Galatians 5:24:

Note: We do this with zeal and love for Christ Jesus. Our love for him is our willingness to obey and to be led by spirit through faith in Christ.

Matthew 4:23-25: Jesus Heals the Sick:

23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them. 25 Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him. Matthew 4:23-25.

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. Hebrews 13:17

Guarding your heart means protecting what goes into your mind. It also means making your heart a dwelling place for God. But if your heart deceives you, we have God our Father in heaven, which is greater than our heart.

How to Guard Your Heart?

Practice 1: Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23.

Proverbs 7:25. Note: Do not be like the world's ways but follow Jesus' ways.

Help me to separate from the world my Lord. The only thing that matters to me is love and living by the spirit through obedience. I will concern myself with nothing of the world. My treasure is doing God's will. My heart is absent from the world, and my spirit is present with God. The world is not my kingdom. In the Lord, I am in perfect peace.

How can I be useful all the days of my life?

Note: Psalms 92: 12-15 says. The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.

Note: You have to want to be a righteous person.
