Focus Hope and Salvation

October 18, 2025

While the world is preoccupied with many distractions, we as believers should remain focused on living out our faith in Christ. Living out my faith in Christ is my everyday focus.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-10 says.

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you,  for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.  While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.  You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.  So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.  For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.  But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.  For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Self-Evaluation

September 24, 2025

Trey Knowles emphasizes the importance of examining oneself in light of God’s Word. Self-evaluation means intentionally studying your own actions, attitudes, and tendencies to ensure you are walking according to God’s will. It is a process of becoming aware of your strengths, weaknesses, behaviors, and habits, with the purpose of growing in obedience to God.

Scripture reminds us of this in James 3:13–15, which teaches that true wisdom is demonstrated through humility and godly living, while envy and selfish ambition reveal a wisdom that is earthly and unspiritual.

Living in the Spirit requires daily discipline. Just as people train animals to obey, we must train our own hearts, minds, and bodies to submit to God. Self-discipline allows us to resist ungodliness, deny instant gratification, and remain focused on long-term spiritual growth. It involves perseverance, impulse control, and learning from failures in order to move forward faithfully.

Ultimately, self-evaluation and self-discipline work together to help believers crucify the flesh, live by the Spirit, and walk in obedience to the Word of God.

Producing Love and Faithfulness For Lord

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.

Note: Make God commands your focus points.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck,

write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Note: Have Zeal love for the Lord.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.

Note: To "shun" means to deliberately avoid someone or something, often out of dislike, caution, or disapproval.

This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Proverbs 3:1-8:

Repent or Perish

February 09, 2025

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. Proverbs 3:7

Note: Shun means to turn away from evil:

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.  Acts 3:19

They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. 1 Peter 3:11

Note: Seek peace: Live the way God intends for you to live

Repent or Perish

Luke 13: Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.  Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?  I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.  So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

“‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”

Advoid Myths and Focus on Godliness

Advoid Myths and Focus on Godliness

The Bible has several verses that warn against myths and meaningless speculations. Here are some examples:

1 Timothy 4:7: "Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly."

Note: What is important is to be Godly by obedience living by faith

1 Timothy 1:4: "Don’t let them waste your time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees. These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God."

2 Timothy 4:3-4: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths."

Titus 3:9 "Avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless."

Note: Avoid genealogies what matters is God created you.

Blessed Are Those

December 01, 2024

Does money make a person blessed? Does being rich on Earth make a person blessed? Do fame and glamor make a person blessed? Nope, none of these things makes a person blessed.

Why do I say this? Note: It is written in Matthew 5:1-12.

Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.

He said:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven".

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

I Will Take My Stand

October 29, 2024

Am I crazy? Am I blind? I will not allow America to curse me with its evil. I will speak against the evil. I will not become cowardly. I will not praise wickedness that tramples the law of God underfoot as America does. They destroy the foundation of the Lord and the faith that has been taught with their legislations and laws. Why? The spirit of evil is in them and the spirit of evil is even greater in the ones that govern them.

Trey Knowles
I will take my stand.

America's corruption and perverted ways of living have made demonic spirits an unlawful dwelling place and destroyed the good life in us. I will raise against the false liberty and tyrants given to me, I see they do not have the ways of the Lord. I will repent and escape her wicked ways, for I will not be a prisoner to evil spirits.

Therefore, I am writing and you who are reading are my witness, let me throw away everything that hinders me and the sin that so easily traps me. I will run the race marked out for me with perseverance, fixing my eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of my faith. For the joy set before him, he endured on the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. I consider Jesus who endured such opposition for me so that I may live through him, so now I will not grow weary and lose heart. I will take my stand.

New Self For All People

August 01, 2024

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.  Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.  Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you Colossians 3:9-13

Note: Take off the sinful nature is one race in God. In that Christ is all and in all.

The Ten Commandments

July 24, 2024

Exodus 20:1-21 The Ten Commandments

20 And God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

13 “You shall not murder.

14 “You shall not commit adultery.

15 “You shall not steal.

16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”

20 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”

Note: The fear of God will keep you from sinning meaning- The love and respect you have for God to do God will.

21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

Love Is Kind - Truth & Knowledge

April 06, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 56 – “Love Is Kind”

In this episode, Trey Knowles reflects on the true meaning of kindness—a quality we are called to live out every day. He reminds us that kindness isn’t just an occasional act, but a way of life rooted in love and faith. Drawing from Colossians 3:12, Trey emphasizes the importance of clothing ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience as expressions of God’s love in action.

Romans 14 Weak and The Strong

March 06, 2024

 The Weak and the Strong

Romans 14. Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

5 One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. 6 Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. 11 It is written:

“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,

‘every knee will bow before me;

    every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[b]

12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.

19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. (edification is the building up of the body of Christ) 20 Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble. 21 It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.

22 So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. 23 But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith, and everything that does not come from faith is sin

Notes: Hebrews 11:1 (Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.)

Notes:  Substance Equals Jesus

Notes: All good things come from God above. Which we put our hope in.

Notes: If does not come from Jesus it is sin because it is impure.

Notes: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Be Faithful

February 16, 2024

It is written Genesis 5:23-24

Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

It is written Genesis 6:9

This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

Abraham Justified by Faith

It is written in Romans 4 What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, discovered in this matter? 2 If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God. 3 What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

4 Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. 5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. 6 David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

7 “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

9 Is this blessedness only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness. 10 Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was not after, but before! 11 And he received circumcision as a sign, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but have not been circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them. 12 And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

13 It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. 14 For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless, 15 because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. 17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.

18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” 23 The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, 24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Image of God or the World. A Story of Choice

September 17, 2023

I am just a child. I came out of my mother's womb beautifully, God made no mistakes when he knit me together. I had no tattoos and no piercings. My Image is clean.

Just like is written. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13

What do I see and what am I looking at? I see the people of the world having tattoos and piercings. Young kids and teens think it’s okay because this is what we see In the world. This is not the practice of God this is the practice of the world.

Let me test my mother to see if she is a stumbling block to me. I truly believe if my mom knows the truth she will not allow me to get tattoos or piercings on my body. If she knows the truth and allows me to get tattoos on my body, then I know mother is a stumbling block to me, and she is not for me.

Disobedience is one thing but being a stumbling block is another because I have no money to do it, I am just a child. If my Mother is in her right mind she would probably tell me something like this.

Trey, Trey, Trey, your name is being called by your Father, but your Father does not recognize you with this Tattoo and piercings. What have you done to yourself Trey, your Father ask. You were one of us what have you done to yourself?

I am so glad that I don’t have tattoos and piercings. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,

I know that full well. It is written in Psalm 139:14

Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:28.

It is written in Genesis 3: 9-10 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

I don’t want to repeat the something that Adam did. When God calls me, I am His. I look like His. I am His, I will act like I am His. I will walk in Him, I will live in Him, and have my being.

It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Public Display

September 02, 2023

There should be no Gossip about nobody on my social media pages. I will not entertain gossip or backbiting. I do not find anything entertaining about anybody's misfortunes or mistakes. In fact, it's none of my business. If I dont know them to correct them, I will say nothing at all. Love corrects. This even goes for politics.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. Anybody who delights in the company of evil enjoys what is evil. This even goes for listening to it or even watching it. For we are called to be Holy. We must separate ourselves from the darkness of this world. Those who love darkness are entangled with darkness.

Their mouths speak with darkness, they insult one another with darkness. They do not uplift or encourage. Be watchful and witness, see their content on YouTube, see their content on Twitch, and do not be like them. As you watch them you will see that this behavior is not from God.

They influence others with marijuana usage of alcohol and words of destruction amongst one another. Nothing good from their lips. Watch I am not lying, but be my witness, and see their evil on YouTube, Twitch, and Tiktok. For this is not gossip. For this in the public eyes. I am ashamed, I feel persecuted by watching their wickedness, and to the glory of God, which we call out of from darkness and into light, Lord I ask that you show them light because they do not know what they do.

Your Life Should be Walking

June 25, 2023

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Galatians 5:22

And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24

In order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:4

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. As I warned you before, I warn you that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide a way of escape, so that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Dedicated- (of a person) devoted to a task or purpose; having single-minded loyalty or integrity

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Matthew 6:24

"Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it" Matthew 10:37-39

8 Steps on How to Follow Jesus Christ

February 17, 2023

How to follow Jesus?

Step 1: Be Born Again

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. John 3:3.

Step 2: Be a Person that Prays

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray and spent the night praying to God. Luke 6:12. Understand a follower does what a leader does.

Step 3: Listen to Him

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased. Listen to him!” Matthew 17:5.

Step 4: Believe in Him

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Understand a Believer puts their faith in the one they believe in by listening and responding.

Step 5: Obey Him

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 Understand by accepting and doing and dwelling in his Love. Abide.

Step 6: Love Him

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30. How do I love God? With my entire mind. When I love God, I protect what I place in my Mind. My Soul will be steadfast and loyal and always persevering. Not giving up.

Step 7:  Share Him & Serve Him

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19. For I understand I will not be ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes:

Step 8: Suffer for him

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.  Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. John 15:18-20.

How to Follow Jesus? Step 8

February 16, 2023

How to Follow  Jesus?

Step 8: Suffer for him

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.

That is why the world hates you.  Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. John 15:18-20.

Note: To Suffer for Christ means you will always obey no matter what.

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit striving together as one for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you.

This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God.  For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,  since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have. Philippians 1:27-30.
