Why do I need to be involved with VALENTINE’S DAY when I know it's wrong.
Let's define the word, Saint. A saint (also historically known as a hallow) is a person who is recognized as having an exceptional degree of holiness or likeness or closeness to God.
When you celebrate Valentine's Day you are worshiping the likeness of Saint Valentine who created Valentine's Day. That is being a Pegan.
There is no way this Man "Valentine" can call himself a Saint or have the same likeness as God. This is sick and twisted like calling Halloween a holy day. This is what the word Hallow means holy. So what is so holy about Halloween or Mr. Saint Valentine?
I am tired of being a slave to the traditions of the world to the One that is in the world. For I know that Jesus has set me free. Why do I want to be a slave all over again to these principles of the world?
Romance is the expressive and pleasurable feeling of an emotional attraction towards another person which leads to sensual gravitation to one's desire. First John 2:16 details exactly what Satan's system promotes: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life.
The Apostle Paul warns us about this
In Galatians 4:8-11.
8 Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. 9 But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? 10 You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! 11 I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.
