Truth & Knowledge: Episode 58 – “Love Does Not Boast” In this episode, Trey Knowles emphasizes that no one has a reason to boast or make others feel inferior. What we have is not worth boasting about unless it comes from the Lord. If we boast, it should only be in God—His salvation, righteousness, and goodness—recognizing that apart from Him, we are nothing but a mist that appears briefly and then vanishes. Trey references Romans 2:11–13, which teaches that God shows no favoritism. Those who sin without the law will perish without it, and those who sin under the law will be judged by it. It is not enough to merely hear God’s word; we must live it out. True justification comes through obedience and faith, as demonstrated by Abraham. Trey challenges listeners to examine what they boast about—whether it’s achievements, status, or control used to diminish others. Such pride is contrary to love, because love does not boast.

The danger of coveting will lead people to ruin, especially through the word equality or saying I have the right to or have a certain need and I am not talking about food and water or clothes. When equality turns to about self.

The word equality or not feeling equal based on wants and desires is becoming dangerous in society. I truly believe it is a trick of the devil.

In the Bible, Matthew 4:8-10 describes the devil taking Jesus to a high mountain and showing him the kingdoms of the world, and saying, "All these things I will give you if you will fall and worship me". Jesus replies, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only'". This is one of three temptations that Satan tempted Jesus with.

Any person who wants to sovereign themselves without God is a fool.

People of color, women, and others who are already deceived, like the alphabet community, will be tricked by this.

You already see stupid people calling themselves God. Stay away from these people. Resentfulness will make people bitter, and that is not Godly.

I believe in civil rights, and I am also not stupid. The right to do what, I ask? People's wants and desires will lead them to destruction. Remember Eve in the garden, equality trick, it is that equality attitude that a person has, that tries to put themselves above God.

Stay away from the world and their wants. We belong to God, and the world belongs to itself.

It is written in James 4 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Come near to God and he will come near to you.

When it comes to equality even Jesus did not consider himself equality with God. But as a servant of Obedience to God even to the very death even death on the cross. We who sinned and fall short are not better than Jesus Christ who is sinless.

It is written in Philippians 2:5-9 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself

by becoming obedient to death--even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.
