Love Does Not Delight In Evil - Truth & Knowledge

May 31, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 64 – “Love Does Not Delight in Evil” In this episode, Trey Knowles explains that true love rejects evil and aligns itself with what is good. Citing Romans 12:9, “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good,” he teaches that if something does not reflect God’s character, we should not condone, watch, listen to, or participate in it. Trey challenges listeners to reflect on what they allow into their hearts and minds—asking, “What are your eyes seeing and your ears hearing? Is it good or bad?” He reminds believers, through Philippians 4:8, to focus on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy. Love cannot dwell in evil; a holy person turns away from it and clings to goodness.

Love Keeps No Records of Wrongs - Truth & Knowledge

May 24, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 63 – “Love Keeps No Record of Wrongs”

In this episode, Trey Knowles emphasizes that it’s easy to criticize others, but true love calls us to teach, help, and correct with compassion. He reminds listeners that resentment and revenge are not expressions of love. Drawing from Matthew 5:20, Trey explains that to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, our righteousness must surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees—meaning we must cultivate mercy and forgiveness. Genuine love shows itself through compassion, mercy, and a heart that forgives rather than keeps a record of wrongs, reflecting Jesus’ desire for mercy over sacrifice.

Love is Not Easily Angered - Truth & Knowledge

May 16, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 62 – “Love is Not Easily Angered”

In this episode, Trey Knowles discusses how to manage anger in a godly way. He reminds listeners that while feeling anger is natural, we must not let it lead us into sin, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Patience plays a key role in overcoming anger—it allows us to seek understanding before reacting. Those who are quick-tempered often lose control, but by being quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, we can respond with wisdom and grace. Trey encourages listeners not to react in anger, but instead to seek understanding first.

Love Is Not Self-Seeking - Truth & Knowledge

May 10, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 61 – “Love Is Not Self-Seeking” In this episode, Trey Knowles teaches that true love is selfless, not self-centered. He warns against living like the characters in the Parable of the Wicked Tenants, who were consumed by greed and self-interest. To be self-seeking is to pursue one’s own desires and ambitions without regard for others—a mindset that stands in direct opposition to God’s love. Trey challenges listeners with a powerful question: “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?” Genuine love looks beyond personal gain and seeks the well-being of others, reflecting the selfless nature of Christ.

Love Does Not Dishonor Others - Truth & Knowledge

May 03, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 60 – “Love Does Not Dishonor Others” In this episode, Trey Knowles discusses the importance of showing honor as an expression of love. To honor someone means to treat them with genuine admiration and respect. Disrespect, on the other hand, is the opposite of love and reveals a lack of honor toward others. Trey emphasizes Proverbs 21:21, which teaches that “Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.” When we choose to live with integrity and compassion, we not only honor others but also experience the blessings of a life aligned with God’s righteousness. True love, therefore, never dishonors—it uplifts and respects.

Love Is Not Prideful - Truth & Knowledge

April 26, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 59 – “Love Is Not Prideful”

In this episode, Trey Knowles reflects on the danger of pride and the power of humility, drawing from Proverbs 11:2, which says, “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” He explains that pride corrupts the heart, leading people into sin and self-deception. Trey also references Proverbs 16:18–19, reminding listeners that “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” It is far better to be humble and stand with the oppressed than to join the proud in their wrongdoing. Pride feeds the flesh and resists righteousness, but true love calls for humility and repentance. Finally, Trey highlights Proverbs 8:13, where God declares, “To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.” Trey urges believers to turn from prideful attitudes and embrace humility, for love is never proud.

Love Does Not Boast - Truth & Knowledge

April 19, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 58 – “Love Does Not Boast” In this episode, Trey Knowles emphasizes that no one has a reason to boast or make others feel inferior. What we have is not worth boasting about unless it comes from the Lord. If we boast, it should only be in God—His salvation, righteousness, and goodness—recognizing that apart from Him, we are nothing but a mist that appears briefly and then vanishes. Trey references Romans 2:11–13, which teaches that God shows no favoritism. Those who sin without the law will perish without it, and those who sin under the law will be judged by it. It is not enough to merely hear God’s word; we must live it out. True justification comes through obedience and faith, as demonstrated by Abraham. Trey challenges listeners to examine what they boast about—whether it’s achievements, status, or control used to diminish others. Such pride is contrary to love, because love does not boast.

Love Does Not Envy - Truth & Knowledge

April 11, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 57 – “Love Does Not Envy”

In this episode, Trey Knowles delves into the destructive nature of envy, reminding us that where envy exists, love cannot. Envy, or resentfulness, stems from a desire to possess what belongs to someone else—what Scripture calls coveting. This desire, when left unchecked, leads to bitterness, wickedness, and separation from the spirit of God, who is love. Trey explains that the Hebrew word for covet can also mean lust—a strong craving for what is forbidden. When a person allows such desire to rule their heart, it results in disobedience and harm, echoing the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden. Their longing for what God had forbidden brought lasting consequences for all humanity. Through this teaching, Trey reminds us that true love rejoices in others’ blessings rather than envies them, and that walking in love keeps us aligned with God’s heart.

When Equality Turns Deadly

April 03, 2024
Trey Knowles

The danger of coveting will lead people to ruin, especially through the word equality or saying I have the right to or have a certain need and I am not talking about food and water or clothes. When equality turns to about self.

The word equality or not feeling equal based on wants and desires is becoming dangerous in society. I truly believe it is a trick of the devil.

In the Bible, Matthew 4:8-10 describes the devil taking Jesus to a high mountain and showing him the kingdoms of the world, and saying, "All these things I will give you if you will fall and worship me". Jesus replies, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only'". This is one of three temptations that Satan tempted Jesus with.

Any person who wants to sovereign themselves without God is a fool.

People of color, women, and others who are already deceived, like the alphabet community, will be tricked by this.

You already see stupid people calling themselves God. Stay away from these people. Resentfulness will make people bitter, and that is not Godly.

I believe in civil rights, and I am also not stupid. The right to do what, I ask? People's wants and desires will lead them to destruction. Remember Eve in the garden, equality trick, it is that equality attitude that a person has, that tries to put themselves above God.

Stay away from the world and their wants. We belong to God, and the world belongs to itself.

It is written in James 4 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Come near to God and he will come near to you.

When it comes to equality even Jesus did not consider himself equality with God. But as a servant of Obedience to God even to the very death even death on the cross. We who sinned and fall short are not better than Jesus Christ who is sinless.

It is written in Philippians 2:5-9 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself

by becoming obedient to death--even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.

Love is Patient - Truth & Knowledge

March 26, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 54 – “Love is Patient” In this episode, Trey Knowles reflects on God’s enduring patience and what it teaches us about how to treat one another. He shares that just as God shows patience, grace, and compassion toward us despite our mistakes, we too are called to be patient with others. God never gives up on us, and His patience is meant to draw us closer to repentance and transformation. Trey highlights two key scriptures: Romans 2:4 reminds us that God’s kindness, forbearance, and patience are meant to lead us to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 emphasizes that the Lord is patient, desiring that no one should perish but that everyone should come to repentance. Through this message, Trey encourages listeners to embrace patience as an expression of love, mirroring God’s own heart toward us.

Peace And Hope - Truth & Knowledge

March 15, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 53 – “Peace and Hope” In this episode, Trey Knowles reflects on the contrast between sin and grace, drawing from Romans 5:12–19. He explains that sin and death entered the world through one man, Adam, and as a result, all humanity shares in that sin and its consequences. Yet, through another man—Jesus Christ—life, peace, and hope have entered the world. Trey emphasizes that while Adam’s trespass brought condemnation and death, Christ’s obedience brings justification and life. The gift of God’s grace, given through Jesus, far surpasses the effects of sin. Through faith in Christ, believers are made righteous and can live in the peace and hope that come from God’s abundant grace.

America You Arrogant One - Truth & Knowledge

March 11, 2024

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 52 – “America, You Arrogant One” In this episode, Trey Knowles delivers a solemn message to America, calling the nation to humility and repentance before God. He warns that true blessing comes only through walking in obedience to the Lord. Citing Scripture, Trey reminds listeners that if we continue to sin willfully after knowing the truth, only judgment remains. Just as those who rejected Moses’ law faced death without mercy, how much greater will the punishment be for those who reject Christ, dishonor His sacrifice, and insult the Spirit of grace.
