A Parable of White Adam Choosing His Fate Between Life and Death
There was a man called White Adam who stood at a crossroads. Before him were two paths, and beside each path stood a woman.
The first was Aiesha. She spoke smooth words that appealed to pride, comfort, and the desires of the flesh. "Walk with me," she said. "You need not deny yourself. Take what pleases you today, and tomorrow will take care of itself." Her path was wide, decorated with gold and applause, but beyond the bright entrance its light slowly faded into darkness.
The second was Hayati, whose name meant "my life." She spoke with gentleness and truth. "Walk with me," she said. "The road is narrow and sometimes difficult, but it leads to peace, wisdom, and everlasting life. Choose what is right, even when it costs you."
White Adam looked from one woman to the other. One offered immediate pleasure without accountability. The other offered lasting life through faithfulness and obedience.
The choice was not merely between two women—it was between two destinies.
If White Adam chose Aiesha, he chose the way of death, for every step placed him farther from truth until he no longer recognized the light.
If White Adam chose Hayati, he chose the way of life, for every step drew him nearer to wisdom, righteousness, and hope.
The lesson of the parable is this: every person stands where White Adam stood. Each day we choose between the voice that feeds temporary desire and the voice that leads to enduring life. The destination is determined by the path we willingly follow.
So the question remains for every generation:
Which will you choose—Aiesha, whose road ends in death, or Hayati, whose road leads to life?
