Jesus Is The Son of God - Truth & Knowledge

August 03, 2024

Trey Knowles

Truth & Knowledge: Episode 72 – “Jesus Is The Son of God” In this episode, Trey Knowles delves into God’s Final Word — His Son, drawing from Hebrews 1 and other key scriptures to reveal Jesus’ divine identity and supreme authority. God Speaks Through His Son In the past, God communicated through prophets, but now He has spoken fully through His Son — the heir of all things and the One through whom the universe was made. Jesus reflects the very glory and nature of God, sustaining all creation by His powerful word. After accomplishing the purification of sins, He took His rightful place at the right hand of God in heaven, exalted above the angels. The Son’s Superiority to Angels Scripture distinguishes the Son from the angels. God never called an angel His Son or invited one to sit at His right hand. Instead, He commands the angels to worship Jesus, affirming His eternal throne and divine rule. The heavens and the earth will fade, but the Son remains unchanged — eternal and sovereign. Jesus Reveals the Father Jesus Himself declared, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). His words and works are those of the Father living within Him. As He stated, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30), confirming His divine unity with God. Creator and Sustainer of All Things Colossians 1:16 proclaims that all things — visible and invisible — were created through and for Christ. He is not merely a messenger but the Creator and purpose of all existence. The Way, the Truth, and the Life Jesus declared in John 14:6 that He alone is the way to the Father — the truth and the life. No one can come to God apart from Him. Eternal and Almighty Finally, in Revelation 1:8, Jesus identifies Himself as “the Alpha and the Omega… who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Through these truths, Trey Knowles emphasizes that Jesus is not simply a prophet or teacher but the eternal Son of God — the full revelation of God’s glory, authority, and love.

Colonial Missionaries of What They Did to People of Color

August 02, 2024

Proverbs 12:9 states, "Better is he that is lightly esteemed and hath a servant, Than he that honoreth himself, and lacketh bread".

Leopold II implemented a forced labour system in the Congo that was quickly copied by other European colonial powers. This brutal practice was a catastrophe for the population of the Congo, and Leopold was eventually forced to give up his hold on the colony. Leopold 11 was part of the Catholic Church; below are his letters on how to enslave people of color using European misconceptions of the bible.

Letter from King Leopold II of Belgium:

Letter from King Leopold II of Belgium to Colonial Missionaries, 1883 “Reverends, Fathers and Dear Compatriots: The task that is given to fulfill is very delicate and requires much tact. You will go certainly to evangelize, but your evangelization must inspire above all Belgium interests. Your principal objective in our mission in the Congo is never to teach the niggers to know God, this they know already.

They speak and submit to a Mungu, one Nzambi, one Nzakomba, and what else I don't know. They know that to kill, to sleep with someone else's wife, to lie and to insult is bad. Have courage to admit it; you are not going to teach them what they know already. Your essential role is to facilitate the task of administrators and industrials, which means you will go to interpret the gospel in the way it will be the best to protect your interests in that part of the world.

For these things, you have to keep watch on disinteresting our savages from the richness that is plenty [in their underground. To avoid that, they get interested in it, and make you murderous] competition and dream one day to overthrow you. Your knowledge of the gospel will allow you to find texts ordering, and encouraging your followers to love poverty, like “Happier are the poor because they will inherit the heaven” and, “It's very difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of God.” You have to detach from them and make them disrespect everything which gives courage to affront us.

I make reference to their Mystic System and their war fetish – warfare protection – which they pretend not to want to abandon, and you must do everything in your power to make it disappear. Your action will be directed essentially to the younger ones, for they won't revolt when the recommendation of the priest is contradictory to their parent's teachings. The children have to learn to obey what the missionary recommends, who is the father of their soul.

You must singularly insist on their total submission and obedience, avoid developing the spirit in the schools, teach students to read and not to reason. There, dear patriots, are some of the principles that you must apply. You will find many other books, which will be given to you at the end of this conference. Evangelize the niggers so that they stay forever in submission to the white colonialists, so they never revolt against the restraints they are undergoing. Recite every day – “Happy are those who are weeping because the kingdom of God is for them.”

Convert always the blacks by using the whip. Keep their women in nine months of submission to work freely for us. Force them to pay you in sign of recognition-goats, chicken or eggs-every time you visit their villages. And make sure that niggers never become rich. Sing every day that it's impossible for the rich to enter heaven. Make them pay tax each week at Sunday mass. Use the money supposed for the poor, to build flourishing business centres.

Institute a confessional system, which allows you to be good detectives denouncing any black that has a different consciousness contrary to that of the decision-maker. Teach the niggers to forget their heroes and to adore only ours. Never present a chair to a black that comes to visit you. Don't give him more than one cigarette. Never invite him for dinner even if he gives you a chicken every time you arrive at his house. “The above speech which shows the real intention of the Christian missionary journey in Africa was exposed to the world by Mr. Moukouani Muikwani Bukoko, born in the Congo in 1915, and who in 1935 while working in the Congo, bought a second hand Bible from a Belgian priest who forgot the speech in the Bible.

Dr. Chiedozie Okoro We should note:  that all missionaries carried out, and still carry out, that mandate. We are only lucky to have found King Leopold's articulation of the aim of all Christian imperialist missionaries to Africa. Even the African converts who today manage the older churches in Africa (the priests, bishops, Archbishops, Cardinals etc of the Roman and Protestant sects), and especially also those who evangelize Born-Again Christianity, still serve the same mandate. Which is why they demonize African gods and Anglicize African names, and drop the names of African deities which form part of African names; and still attack and demolish the African shrines that have managed to survive, e.g. Okija.

Those Africans who voluntarily converted to Christianity before the colonial conquest such as Affonso I of the BaKongo in the 15th century probably did not discern the purpose of the brand of Christianity that was supplied to them. Which was probably why they fell easy prey to the missionaries and the white traders and pirates who followed them. But their Japanese counterparts probably did discern the game, even without access to some version of Leopold's letter. But even if the Japanese Shoguns did not intuit what Leopold makes explicit, they clearly realized the danger of Japanese converts to Christianity forming a fifth column within Japanese society and state, a fifth column loyal to their co-religionists in Europe.

To rid Japan of that danger, in the late 16th century, the Shoguns began their expulsion of Portuguese and Spanish missionaries on the grounds that they were forcing Japanese to become Christian, teaching their disciples to wreck temples, taking and trading slaves, etc. Then, in 1596, it became clear to the Japanese authorities that Christianization had been a prelude to Spanish conquest of other lands; and

it quickly dawned on them that a fifth column loyal to Rome and controlled by the priests of a foreign religion was a clear and present danger to the sovereignty of a newly unified Japan. Soon after, the persecution and suppression of Japanese Christians began. Early in the 17th century, sensing the danger from a creed that taught obedience to foreign priests rather than the Japanese authorities, all missionaries were ordered to leave and all Japanese were ordered to register at the Buddhist temples.

When Japanese Christians took part in a rebellion, foreign priests were executed, the Spanish were expelled and Japanese Christians were forbidden to travel abroad. After another rebellion, largely by Christians, was put down, the Japanese Christians were suppressed and their descendants were put under close state surveillance for centuries thereafter. In the 1640s all Japanese suspected of being Christians were ruthlessly exterminated. Thus did Japan, by 1650, save itself from the first European attempt to mentally subvert, conquer and colonize it.

The African captives who were taken abroad and enslaved, and the Africans at home after the European conquest, having already been forcibly deprived of their autonomy, were in no political position to resist Christianization. Thus the Christianity still practised in all of the African American diaspora, just as that in the African homeland since the start of the 20th century, continues to carry out the Leopoldian mandate.

Hence, for example, whereas the White Born-Agains of the USA, when in the US Navy ships in WWII, sang: “Praise the Lord, And pass the ammunition,” the attitude of African Born-Again converts today is best summed up as: “Praise the Lord, And lie down for the manna.” Thanks to a century or more of this Leopold-mandated missionary mind control, African Christians are not an activist, self-helping, economically engaged, politically resolute, let alone militant bunch. Hence their putting up with all manner of mistreatment and exploitation by their misrulers, white and black.

The most they are disposed to do to their misrulers is to admonish them to “Fear God!” – as one protester's miserable placard read in last week's Lagos demonstration against the latest of the murderous fuel price hikes by the OBJ Misgovernment.

The idea of an uprising to tame their misrulers is alien to the religiously opiated frame of mind of the Nigerians. The lesson in the contrast between an Africa that the Christian missionaries brainwashed and subverted, and a Japan where this brainwashing and subversion was forcibly prevented, is stark and clear. What then must Africans of today begin to do to save themselves from brainwashing by their White World enemies here on earth?

Slavery is the ownership of a person as property, especially in regards to their labor. Slavery typically involves compulsory work, with the slave's location of work and residence dictated by the party that holds them in bondage. The thing about slavery it is the works of labor. Good deeds, and kindness, are not slavery but the works of the spirit.  A Slave Master act of labor that puts a person in bondage is the acts of the flesh.

Matthew 5:21-22: States "You have heard that it was said to our people long ago, 'You must not murder anyone. Anyone who murders another will be judged'"

Galatians 5:19–21 states, “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”

If your slave master who put you in bondage possesses these traits, you are not the slave, The slave master is the slave internally. Don’t be fooled even if they claim God.

1 John 3:7-9 states little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Matthew 7:15-19 states beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

The word of God does not do evil. Remember John 10:10 states.  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I want you to know that principalities in high places" is a phrase from Ephesians 6:12 in the Bible, which states, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places".

The reason for this post is for it to never happen again in the future. What they did in history affects people of color today. Note: This is not the way or character of God.

But again "If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you". Jesus said this to warn his disciples that they would face persecution, similar to how he had, because the world hated his message and his actions. Jesus was persecuted for speaking with authority, exposing the world, and judging hidden motives. The world also hated the message of the cross, which includes the idea that people are completely dependent on Christ John 15:20.

Without Christ, you are a slave to your sinful flesh.

Every Continent is Part of God

Trey Knowles

In Revelation 1:12–13, the apostle John experiences a vision of Jesus Christ standing amid seven candlesticks: “And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle” (KJV). Most modern translations refer to the “seven candlesticks” as “seven golden lampstands.”

Jesus spoke to John in the vision and explained what the seven candlesticks were: “The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches” (Revelation 1:20).

The seven churches, represented by the seven candlesticks, were actual churches that existed at the time John experienced the vision. The churches were located in seven cities of western Asia Minor: in Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. In Revelation 2 — 3, Jesus Christ addresses a letter to each of these churches, a letter that included words of commendation, criticism, and consolation. This part of Revelation comprises the “what is now” section of Revelation (see Revelation 1:19).

Trey Knowles's interpretation. The Glory of God is the seven Angles of the seven continents God has created in his image in glory. Seven churches represent seven continents of the earth, which is in the body of Christ. Note: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, In Hebrew 1:7 it is written In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servant's flames of fire.

1 Corinthians 6:20 For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. God shows his love for us that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Christ died for every person on every continent. For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen Romans 11:36.

Why do I say this?

Note: Psalm 24:1-3 says The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

Note: 2nd reason I say the seven continents are the seven churches, is 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 says Unity and Diversity in the Body. Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.  For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body--whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.  Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.  If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?  But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.  If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,  and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty,  while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?  Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?  Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

1 Peter 2:9 says but you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Colossians 3:11 says, "In the new life there is no difference between Greeks and Jews, those who are circumcised and those who are not circumcised, or people who are foreigners, or Scythians. There is no difference between slaves and free people. But Christ is in all believers, and Christ is all that is important"

New Self For All People

August 01, 2024

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.  Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.  Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you Colossians 3:9-13

Note: Take off the sinful nature is one race in God. In that Christ is all and in all.

Barbarian

August 01, 2024

The term "barbarian" was used by ancient Greek and Roman scholars to describe foreign peoples they believed to be uncivilized, violent, or inferior. The word comes from the Greek word bárbaros, which may have been onomatopoeic, representing the Greeks' perception of languages other than their own. The term took on a negative connotation, becoming associated with the savage natures and vices the Greeks attributed to their enemies. The Romans adopted the term to describe all peoples who were not under Greco-Roman influence or domination, including the German and Celtic peoples to the north, and the Hunnic and Slavic peoples to the northeast.

Scythians

August 01, 2024

The Scythians were a group of nomadic, equestrian tribes of Iranian descent who lived in the Eurasian steppe from around 900 BC to 200 BC:

Origin:
The Scythians originally lived in southern Siberia, but migrated westward to modern-day Ukraine and southern Russia in the 8th and 7th centuries BCE.

Culture:
The Scythians were a confederation of tribes who lived in house wagons and roamed their territories seasonally, trading and fighting along the way. They spoke an Indo-European language and shared a material culture that included elaborate dress, body art, music, dance, and a religion that venerated the elements.

Empire:
The Scythians founded a powerful empire centered on what is now Crimea, but it eventually fell to the Sarmatians between the 4th century BCE and the 2nd century CE.

Pangea Theory

August 01, 2024

Genesis 1:9 in the Bible states, "And God said, 'Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear. And it was so'". Some theologians interpret this verse as supporting the Pangaea theory, which states that a supercontinent called Pangaea broke apart into two continents, Laurasia and Gondwanaland, about 200 million years ago. Laurasia is made up of the modern continents of Asia, Europe, and North America, while Gondwanaland includes Antarctica, Australia, and South America.

Pangea is the concept that all of the land masses of the earth were at one time connected as one giant super-continent. On a world map, some of the continents look like they could fit together like giant puzzle pieces (Africa and South America, for example). Does the Bible mention Pangea? Not explicitly, but possibly. Genesis 1:9 records, “And God said, ‘Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.’ And it was so.” Presumably, if all the water was “gathered to one place,” the dry ground would also be all “in one place.” Genesis 10:25 mentions, “…one was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided…” Some point to Genesis 10:25 as evidence that the earth was divided after the Flood of Noah.

While this view is possible, it is most definitely not universally held by Christians. Some view Genesis 10:25 as referring to the “division” that occurred at the Tower of Babel, not the division of the continents via “continental drift.” Some also dispute the post-Noahic Pangea separation due to the fact that, at the current rates of drift, the continents could not possibly have drifted so far apart in the time that has transpired since the Noahic Flood. However, it cannot be proven that the continents have always drifted at the same rate. Further, God is capable of expediting the continental-drift process to accomplish His goal of separating humanity (Genesis 11:8). Again, though, the Bible does not explicitly mention Pangea, or conclusively tell us when Pangea was broken apart.

However, there is another explanation offered by Christian scientists that does not require a post-Noahic Pangea. According to this view, intercontinental migration most likely began while sea levels were still low during and immediately following the post-Flood Ice Age when much of the water was still trapped in ice at the poles. Lower sea levels would have left the continental shelves exposed, connecting all of the major land masses through land bridges.

There are (or at least were) shallow underwater land bridges connecting all of the major continents. North America, Southeast Asia, and Australia are all attached to continental Asia. Britain is attached to continental Europe. In some places, these intercontinental bridges are only a few hundred feet below our current sea level. The theory can be summarized as follows: (1) After the Flood, an Ice Age occurred. (2) The vast amount of water that was frozen resulted in the oceans being much lower than they are today. (3) The low level of the oceans resulted in land bridges connecting the various continents. (4) Human beings and animals migrated to the different continents over these land bridges. (5) The Ice Age ended, the ice melted and the ocean levels rose, resulting in the land bridges being submerged.

So, while Pangea is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, the Bible does present the possibility of a Pangea. Whatever the case, either view presented above presents a viable explanation for how humanity and animals were able to migrate to continents now separated by vast oceans.

Gideon The Bible Story

July 31, 2024

In Judges chapter 6, we are introduced to a judge named Gideon. At that time, God’s people were under the oppression of the Midianites, so they cried out to God for help. God heard them and chose Gideon to deliver them from their enemies.

For years the mighty and ruthless Midianite army stole the Israelites’ crops and animals, leaving them with little or nothing to live on. God wanted Gideon to raise an army to go after the Midianites and destroy them, but there was one problem: Gideon didn’t want to go.

“’Pardon me, my lord,’ Gideon replied, ‘but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.’ The Lord answered, ‘I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.’”

– Judges 6:15-16 (NIV)

Gideon felt that he was unqualified to be a leader, but God thought He was perfect for the job. Let’s take a look at this powerful story about a seemingly timid judge and his army of 300 and the lessons we can learn from it.

God calls Gideon

God sent an angel to tell Gideon that he had been chosen to save Israel, but Gideon had excuses why he wasn’t right for the job.

“’Pardon me, my lord,’ Gideon replied, ‘but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.’ The Lord answered, ‘I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.’” – Judges 6:15-16 (NIV)

God certainly knew Gideon was from a lowly clan and was the youngest in his family. God knows everything about us. He knows you’re struggling to make ends meet right now, but if He tells you that a time will come when you’ll have so much that you’ll even start blessing others, you best believe Him.

He knows you’ve never left your little town, but if He tells you you’ll preach the gospel around the world, do not doubt Him. Jehovah does not call the qualified, He qualifies those He calls. While you count your shortcomings, He is making a way for you to fulfill your purpose.

 The 300-man army

Gideon gathered an army of 32,000 men to go to war with the Midianites, but He must have been surprised when God told him, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me’” (Judges 7:2).

The Bible tells us that at this time the Midianites had joined forces with the Amalekites and others to form a huge army. Wouldn’t it have been logical for Gideon to gather all the able-bodied men he could find? But God didn’t want more men, and eventually, the army of 32,000 was whittled to a mere 300.

Trust in the Lord

You see, when God is on your side, it doesn’t matter who is against you. They may be bigger, stronger, or even more influential than you are. When Jehovah is with you, no one can hurt you.

Our God is the lion of the tribe of Judah. He is Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our banner. A thousand may fall at your right, and 10,000 by your right hand, but He will never let anything hurt His own (Psalm 91:7). Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. Trust in His word, and have faith in Him.

He will confirm His word

To confirm His word, God sent Gideon some signs. There was the dew on the fleece (Judges 6:36-40) and the dream of the loaf of bread tumbling into the Midianite camp (Judges 7:13).

Many times God will send a confirmation after giving you a prophetic word. He might send someone to talk to you, or He’ll give you a dream or a vision. God can use any channel.

The battle against the Midianites

“When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, ‘Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.’ Dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he placed trumpets and empty jars in the hands of all of them, with torches inside.” – Judges 7:15-16

The 300-man army went to the edge of the camp of the Midianites. There they blew their trumpets and broke the jars. Then they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” God caused confusion in the camp of the Midianites and they turned on each other with their swords.

By the hand of God, Israel, with a small army of just 300, defeated an army in the tens of thousands. When you start praying and worshiping, miracles will happen. Call out His name and worship Him. Whether you’re in the valley or in a storm, praise Him and He will put confusion in the camp of your enemies.

Conclusion

The battle is not yours, it’s the Lord’s. Trust Him and obey His word. Praise Him in every circumstance. Those plotting against your family, business, or health will be confused and turn on each other.

God is still in the business of doing miracles and He is about to do something incredible in your life. Gideon’s story teaches us that we’re never too small or broken for God to use. He can do great things with you, just as He did with Gideon.
